اوریا مقبول جان سے مجھے صرف یہ پوچھنا ہے کہ پاکستان کی طالبان سے کیا دشمی ہے۔ آپ نے جو امن کی مثالیں دی ہیں وہ بھارت کے ساتھ تو امن معاہدہ کرنے کے لئے تو بہت مناسب ہیں ۔ کیا طالبان کسی ایسے ملک کی نمائیندگی کرتے ہیں جسکی سرخد پاکستان سے الگ ہے ۔ اور وہ پاکستان کے ساتھ خالت جنگ میں ہے۔ آپ جنگ بندی چاہتے ہیں ، امن چاہتے ہیں تاکہ ملک میں ترقی ہو سکے ، لیکن آپ یہ کیوں بھول جاتے ہیں کہ طالبان کا کی خوشخالی اور ترقی اُس ترقی سے مختلف ہے جس کا سہانہ خواب آپ نے عوام کو دکھانے کی کوشش کی ہے۔ طالبان کی ترقی سے انشاللہ آپکی عورتیں ان نام نہاد مزہبی سوروں پر حلال ہو جائیں گی۔
صرف امیر طالبان کا ایک فتوی ہی تو چاہیے۔

Why not? We should give peace another chance. Fighting can’t sort out differences and starts a never ending game of death and revenge. Therefore, why not with a new determination and zeal shouldn’t we try to find out a peaceful solution. We should also reflect upon history as beautifully and aptly depicted in the article above. After giving serious consideration to history and facts of this special case, it appears prudent that we should make another attempt. No doubt, Taliban have inflicted much damage and killed scores of people but we shouldn’t forget that there are international powers on their back who don’t want peace in Pakistan. And often large hearted approach and forgiving killers when iron is hot, has given great results in history. The brilliant example is Fateh e Makkah and the other of Nelson Mandela. In both cases if ultimate forgiveness shouldn’t have been resorted to, history might have been very different.

We didn’t take up the case like a responsible nation. Our TV channels started media trial of Ajmal when he was only an accused. We didn’t ask India how they guard their waters? The way allegedly Ajmal entered India with his men, we can so easily invade India and occupy any city. Instead of logically and scientifically exposing the Indian conspiracy, we fell easy prey to the trap and even an Indian officer had to say that it was a staged drama and of course, how ridiculous it is that Ajmal could enter in to Indian territory through waters so easily. Funny and ridiculous. We need to have same affiliation with our homeland as Indians have with theirs.

Orya maqbool jan is very sensible writer and he has represented a true picture of those who are responsible of this chaos in Muslim countries and label the responsibility on others. His thinking is absolutely right and very foresighted for our future to talk for peace and; end this never ending war imposed on us. Those against these talks must send at least one of their family members to take part in operations with defense forces against the culprits
